What is a National Tourism Gift Certificate?
It is a gift certificate sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, supervised by the Korea Tourism Association, and sold and funded by financial institutions (banks). It is a convenient gift certificate that can be used not only for shopping, but also for hotels, condos, travel agencies, department stores, discount marts, duty free shops, family restaurants, golf courses, and ski resorts in Korea. In addition, part of the proceeds issued as national tourism gift certificates are returned to society.
