<New MC confirmation notice>

‘National Singing Contest’ National MC
‘Kim Shin-young’ drop

KBS1TV’s ‘National Singing Contest’ picked broadcaster Kim Shin-young as the successor MC to succeed the late Song Hae in 34 years.

It is true that the new MC decision has received the attention of viewers as the nation’s best MC, the late Song Hae, has been crying and laughing with the whole country for 34 years since May 1988.

Kim Shin-young, who was selected as the new MC, has not only been active in radio shows for a long time, such as ‘Song of Hope at Noon, Shin-Young Kim’, but also has been active as ‘Selup Five’ and ‘Second Aunt Kim Da-bi’, and has recently been recognized for her acting skills with director Park Chan-wook’s ‘Decision to Break Up’. As a global all-round entertainer, he continues to be dazzling.

Regarding this, Kim Shin-young, the new MC of the “National Singing Contest,” said, “It is an honor for my family to be selected as the successor host, having grown up with the National Singing Contest. In the future, I will communicate with many people from all over the country and learn hard. I want to work hard and have fun so as not to harm the tradition.” He said a heartfelt thank you.

The production team of ‘National Singing Contest’ also thought that Kim Shin-young was very suitable as the MC of the new National Singing Contest because she had a lot of stage experience with the public above all else.
I’m looking forward to it.

New MC Kim Shin-young will lead the ‘National Singing Contest’ starting with the broadcast on October 16th.
