교외체험학습 신청서 Off-campus experiential learning application form

How to Fill Out an Application for Off-Campus Experiential Learning: An Elementary School Family Trip, a Summary of Absences, and a Study Plan

Elementary School Off-Campus Experiential Learning Application

Today, I’d like to introduce how to fill out an application for an elementary school off-campus experiential learning program.

교외체험학습 신청서

These days, unlike in the past,

the concept of absence has changed significantly,

so many friends and family members are actively taking advantage of off-campus experiential learning programs.

I recently submitted an application for an experiential learning program for the first time,

and was a little confused at first,

but it was surprisingly easy.

Now, let me introduce it.

Documents to Submit & Deadlines

If you are absent from school due to travel, visiting relatives, field trips, or other reasons,

there are two documents you must submit:

Application for Off-Campus Experiential Learning with Principal’s Permission

A Report on the Results of Off-Campus Experiential Learning

First, the Off-Campus Experiential Learning Application

must be submitted before the date of the experience.

To receive permission and confirmation of attendance,

this is an important document to remember.

While this may vary by school,

at my son’s elementary school,

the deadline for submitting the Off-Campus Experiential Learning Application is

three days prior to the experience.

The deadline for submitting the results report is

within 10 days of your trip.

The document format, submission deadline, and submission method

may vary by school,

so we recommend checking with your school before proceeding.

How to Complete

First, fill in your personal information and application period,

and then check the learning type.

(Family trip / Visiting relatives / Field trip, field trip, etc.)

Next is the learning plan.

The learning plan will serve as the basis for the results report you submit after your experiential activity.

It’s easier to write it based on what you saw, felt, and thought about during your trip.

Example

I recently went on a family trip with my son’s friends to

Pocheon Kids Pool Villa.

I’ll show you an example of the goals and learning plan I wrote based on that trip.

This may not be a model answer,

but it’s a rough guide.

Purpose: Family trip

Learning Plan

✔️ Observe historical sites and artifacts at (destination)

Learn historical facts and their background

✔️ Observe insects, plants, and animals at (destination)

Think about the life cycle of insects

✔️ Indoor and outdoor activities at (destination)

Learn safety rules

✔️ Physical activity through indoor and outdoor activities at (destination)

✔️ Taste local cuisine at (destination)

Have fun with family

and so on.

This is how I usually write my learning plan.

It doesn’t have to be elaborate or fancy.

Since the children are writing it themselves,

it should be brief enough to give them a chance to think about 교외체험학습 신청서

the plan for the experiential learning day. 좋은뉴스

Even as an adult, writing is always difficult, but…

so as not to burden the children,

let’s have a brief discussion about the experiences ahead of time,

and write about them in 3-4 lines.

It’s easy to think of it as a report.

This is a results report.

As mentioned earlier,

you need to submit it within 10 days of the experience.

You just need to briefly describe the activities you experienced.

I usually attach one or two photos and write about the goals,

adding a little more detail.

Submission Method

Finally,

I’ll explain the submission process.

My son’s school

requires that you fill out the application form and report and submit it to

the homeroom teacher.

Some schools use the e-Alimi app for submissions.

How to Submit via e-Alimi

✔️Go to e-Alimi

✔️Documents/Application Menu >

✔️Submit >

✔️Experiential Learning >

✔️Fill Out Application >

✔️Complete

For those submitting via e-Alimi,

please refer to the submission instructions above!

Many of you will be leaving for summer vacation soon,

so before your vacation,

don’t forget to fill out the Experiential Learning Application

and keep it safe.

Have a wonderful vacation!
