How to use KT membership points
Anyone who uses a mobile phone using a KT carrier can use KT membership points. I also moved to KT as a telecommunications company and haven’t used my membership points at all for over a year. First, in order to use KT membership points, you can apply for a membership card and have it delivered to your home, or simply use a mobile card using the KT membership application. Let’s try to use KT membership points through a mobile card (barcode) displayed on a mobile phone rather than using a card issued.
Create KT membership mobile card
Then, if you do not already have a card, you must first create a membership point mobile card. If you already have a card, you can skip the card creation part.
After accessing the http://www.olleh.com/ site, log in and click the Membership menu in the top menu. Then, click the sign up for membership button.
Then, as shown in the image below, there is a button to sign up for membership. Please click the sign up for membership button.
If you drag your mouse to the bottom of the page, you will see the personal information agreement and simple terms and conditions. Please agree to all personal information agreements and click the Next button.
The next step is to provide consent to receive information. It was judged that point-related content would come, so I checked reception and pressed the next button. If you do not want to receive it, you can check the unsubscribe box.
A message saying congratulations on joining the membership is written, and the level and remaining points are displayed. Even if you have signed up for membership, there is a notice that plastic cards are not provided, and you can download a mobile card.
If you check the text message on your mobile phone, you will receive a message that the mobile card issuance has been completed. Now that it has been confirmed, let’s install the KT membership application to use the mobile card. You can go to the page to download the application by clicking the path link below, or you can search for KT membership in the application search. Since the membership sign-up is completed even if the text message does not come, you can install the application and check the mobile card through the ID and password previously used at KT Olleh. As shown in the image below, there is a KT membership application that can use the KT membership point card. Let’s get it installed.
If you run the application after installing the KT membership application, menu screens will appear in a form similar to the image below. To receive a discount when paying offline with a mobile card (barcode), press the red barcode-shaped button shown in the direction of the arrow in the image below.

In the initial log-in state, it looks like you need to ask for user consent. I agree to use the KT membership app. Please press the button.
Then, you can check the mobile card (barcode) that can use the mobile card as shown in the image below. There is 29.166P. You can think of it as 29,166 won. If you get a 4,000 won discount, 4,000 points will be deducted.
If you have confirmed that you have been issued a mobile card as above, in the case of an offline store, if you show the above barcode at a company that can use KT membership points, you can take a picture of it and use it at a discounted price. The most typical example is that you can easily get a discount by showing the barcode of the above mobile card when using a convenience store.
If the barcode cannot be used, there is a mobile card number, so when the barcode cannot be recognized or used, KT membership points can be used at offline stores through the card number.
You can use the mobile card directly offline, but you can use the discounted amount online from your mobile phone or computer through the Internet. A typical example is a movie. You can make a movie reservation by selecting the DOWN (discount benefit) movie menu in the membership menu on the KT Olleh site. Please note that discounts are not available when paying directly from sites such as CGV, Megabox, and Lotte Cinema.
In the computer environment, you can pay as above, and in mobile, if you proceed with payment through the application you just received, you can make online reservations with the discounted amount. Cigarettes, courier service, gift certificates, liquor bottles, and pay-as-you-go envelopes are not discounted for items excluded from discounts. Other service items are also available, except for the ones listed above, you can get a 15% discount. Of course, since it’s a convenience store, you can give your mobile card and get a discount.
When you spend 10,000 won, if you get a 15% discount, 1500 won is discounted, so it’s 8,500 won. This seems to be quite useful. It says it can only be used once a day.
Amusement park discounts are also available. Can be used once per person. Taking Everland as an example, you can get a 40% discount when purchasing a free pass, and the discount is deducted as much as you receive. You can get the same discount up to other people’s tickets. For 2 or 3 people, you can only get 20% or 10% discount.
Personally, I think I will use emart mainly because there are many emart near my house. It can be used once a month, and looking at the benefits, you can get a 5,000 won discount on purchases of 100,000 won or more, excluding some alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
