Emergency Welfare Services

Target for emergency support

Emergency Assistance Requirements

– In case of serious illness or injury

– Within 6 months of release
– Early homelessness under 6 months
– If the head of a local government recognizes it within the scope of the law
Financial assets: less than KRW 500,000
Income standard: 150% or less of the minimum cost of living (KRW 2,319,599 for 4 people)
General property: 135 million won in large cities, 85 million won in small and medium-sized cities, 72.5 million won in rural areas
