That’s because the signal is completely forwarded to your phone. If you want to answer calls directly on your landline, you’ll need to disable call forwarding! (To disable call forwarding, press the call button and enter something like #72. It’s quick and easy! It’s not difficult!)

The basic call forwarding feature itself is usually free. However, you need to be careful about the call charges incurred during the call forwarding process! Especially if you’re calling from a foreign number or have a long call, the charges can be quite high.
That’s why it’s best to only dial domestic numbers and, if possible, use data services (like KakaoTalk or Zoom) for long-term calls!
